Rye Town Harrison Titans Overtime Thriller

The Rye Town Harrison Titans hockey team faced off against Pearl River on February 3, 2026 at 8:30 PM in Rye Playland. The senior night game celebrated the seven graduating team members from Harrison, Rye Neck, and Port Chester as well as Assistant Captain Max Kulekofsky and Captain Noah Lowenthal from Blind Brook High School. The game was a whiteout and featured a rose ceremony at the beginning to honor all the seniors on the team.

The two teams exchanged goals throughout the three periods, ending regulation in a tie at 5-5. From Blind Brook, Nico Corvalan scored a great goal during regulation. To go along with this, Noah Lowenthal scored a goal and had two assists as well. In overtime, the game went down to the wire and the Rye Town Harrison Titans scored a game-winning goal. This goal was scored by senior Captain Julian Gahr from Harrison High School who scored two other goals during regulation for a hat trick. The game-winner was assisted by Max Kulekofsky from Blind Brook High School who had a total of three assists throughout the game. It was only fitting that the Titans won the game with a senior to senior goal. Another outstanding performance came from Blind Brook High School’s Jackson Scala who had 38 saves during the game.

When asked about the game, Blind Brook High School Senior Max Kulekofsky said “It was such an exciting game and I was so happy to help the team win it in overtime. Thank you to all the fans who came out and supported our team, because this moment means a lot to all of us!”
