Directed by Mrs. Christina Colangelo, Grease opens Thursday, March 9th.

Grease is coming to Blind Brook! Set in the 1950’s, Grease, a Broadway Classic, follows the love story of High School teenagers Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson. The cast of 54 stars Sammy Landino as Danny as well as Sam Gibbs and Julia Short as Sandy. The musical is directed by Mrs.Christina Colangelo.

Many seniors will be taking their final bow on the Blind Brook stage before the curtain closes on Saturday. One of the seniors making his final appearance in a Blind Brook drama is Sammy Landino.

“It is worth every cent of the fifteen dollar ticket,” Landino said. “It’s gonna be great, it is a typical high school senior show. I think it is a symbolic way to send ourselves off, because in a way our own journey is coming to a close in the same way theirs did and what makes the show so great is how their is sort of a duality between real life and what happens on the stage.”

Colangelo has been organizing the show since December. “Everyone should come see Grease, it is a great way to support the theatre program and relive the 1950’s,” she said.
